Welcome to the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Beta chapter of Sigma Delta Epsilon-Graduate Women in Science. We are a diverse group striving to assist and encourage one another in our chosen fields. Our chapter is comprised of scientists from many different fields and workplaces. We include women (and men) who have undergraduate degrees and currently or in the past have had the benefit of research experience. This includes graduate students, research associates, faculty, and staff. We believe this diverse environment is part of what helps us to achieve our personal and professional goals. As a member of GWIS-Beta chapter you are eligible to compete in our Fall Seminar Competition, apply for various research scholarships, and attend our meetings, workshops, socials and guest lectures. Don't forget to check us out on Facebook (Graduate Women in Science-Beta Chapter)!
